Isaac and Renae Bedingfield own and operate an FAA approved part 135 on demand air taxi providing flight services across the remote regions of Alaska. With the help of their four children, the Bedingfield's are committed to providing safe, personable, and excellent services throughout Alaska. Renae and Isaac are both life-long Alaskans. They started God's Country Aviation in 2013 while living in Bethel. In 2021 they took an opportunity to realize a long term dream of owning land and working from their own off grid homestead. It was a long summer of cutting trees, clearing land, and setting up off grid electrical and plumbing. With the help of family and friends it was very productive and rewarding. They now enjoy mountain views from their homestead cabin, nestled between their own private airstrip and a salmon stream. With huge mountains and wild rivers all around Trapper Creek, Isaac and Renae are finding they are still very much in God's Country. The business is now being run from their home strip in Trapper Creek.
Isaac was taught to fly in the Alaskan Brooks Range by his father Curt who is considered by many as one of the best off airport pilots in Alaska. Curt has flown over 40 years in bush Alaska and never wrecked an airplane. For the last twenty-two years Isaac has been putting into practice what he learned from his dad and other mentor pilots, accruing many thousands of hours in the air. He is very familiar with aviation throughout Alaska from his time flying across the most remote parts of The Last Frontier. Before Renae and Isaac started their own business Isaac spent almost ten years as a pilot game warden for the US Fish and Wildlife Service. During those years he flew biologists around the state conducting wildlife arial surveys of moose, bear, goats, sheep, waterfowl and fish.
